I'm on Labetalol 100mg four times a day and Amlodipine Maleate 10mg once a day. I'm very concerned about my health as I don't want to have to take Meds for the rest of my days. I'm only 20 years of age. I used to smoke 10 cigarettes per day since I was 18. Since I quit them I've been montioring my HBP and it dropped a good bit and it was lower than it should've been so hopefully when I see the doctor on the 23rd, he'll drop the doseage. My family smokes and my Dad's Mum (60) has HBP, she has also block arteries as well, her brother whose 73 also has block arteries and he never smoked in his life. My Dad's Mum highest numbers were 250/156. Mine was 250/148. Tomorrow we both have to get blood tests took. I'm not looking forward to that but unfortunately it has to be done.
